Are serial killers born evil or do they become evil? What is the nature of the transformation if one exists? A gruesome but real thought is that you walk by strangers every day that could be these same psychopaths. You are chosen or you are not. You live or you do not. It gets back to the argument of predestination, but that's a much bigger issue...
lyrics
I hear her knockin at the cellar door
But she can't come out today
She stays down there and listens to
The things I have to say
But no one knows that the finest rose
Is just one drink away
And time stands still for a minute to kill
Cause someone has to pay
You're on your last ride
Why don't you take it slow
Whisper in my ear
There's a killer at the window
This is the last time
I hate to see you go
You paint a pretty picture
As I hang you in the window
You're on your last ride
No going home today
Living with the shadow
Of a stranger in the doorway
This is the last time
I better make it clear
Now they'll never find you
I dug your hole deeper
I hear him knockin on the cellar door
But he can't come out to play
He stays down there and listens to
The things I have to say
But no one knows that the finest rose
Is just one drink away
And time stands still for a minute to kill
Cause someone has to pay

After I discovered GUNSHIP with UNICORN, I went through all their material in a rush. They're whole discography is great, and I think this is the greatest. This album haunts me. I can't listen to it once. Even if I turn it off, I still hear it echoing in the back of my mind. GUNSHIP has a mastery of the bridge that reaches the level of mastery in this album that's just unrivaled. If you get only one album from GUNSHIP, get this one. Mailanka
