So ashamed of what I was, I can't escape the past she says
Listen to her whisper soft, as her lips begin to beg
Now I know I'm not alone, I've got faith and you've got leather
Roll the windows down tonight, as we both go down together
Love like yours is Dangerous
Getting on top promiscuous
Never know when you're gonna fade away
Dressed in black, just in case
Love like yours is Dangerous
Dirty or clean, promiscuous
Never know when you're gonna meet your fate
Save a prayer, just in case
Now I paint the windows black so you can't see what I became
The shades are drawn so don't come back
It's never going to be the same
You were right, I'll give you that, there must me something left to say
Give it up or shut your mouth, the only way to play this game
I'll just wave goodbye
Right when you're looking for the gun
It's just your time to die
Hope you had some fun
When the wheels start coming off
That's when you have to run
No one sees the end coming
When it's just begun

After I discovered GUNSHIP with UNICORN, I went through all their material in a rush. They're whole discography is great, and I think this is the greatest. This album haunts me. I can't listen to it once. Even if I turn it off, I still hear it echoing in the back of my mind. GUNSHIP has a mastery of the bridge that reaches the level of mastery in this album that's just unrivaled. If you get only one album from GUNSHIP, get this one. Mailanka
Spaceship Android takes a trip to the beach. "Somewhere Along the Coast" is fun outrun in the sun with a disco beat that drifts in and out. "The Signal" begins with a lo-fi sound then cuts to normal with a spacey, astral sound. "Cruise" is another fun track that switches bakc and forth between funk and outrun with some nice guitar work. "Saw Her Yesterday" is my favorite, though, a slice of teen dreams with a bittersweet edge. Unrequited love? A past romance? The music's tone only tells so much. kmxexii
A deep synthwave trip into a blighted neon dystopia where androids and doomsday cults wreak havoc. Flashy, imaginative work from James Kent. Bandcamp New & Notable May 5, 2016
While AA continues to lay down the disco beats, Watching Stars has a relaxed pace that's more in line with stargazing. "Paradise" flirts with outrun, but it's got dreamy slow sections as well. "Camaro Dreams" has a moody edge. "Lost Days" has some cool guitar and bass hooks during its stroll. "Midnight Rides" is another slow disco number with some fun cowbell and hi-hat and a simple synth solo. "Watching Stars" has a fun beat and guitar stingers backing a digital warmth not unlike Starforce. kmxexii
